5 things about me:
- I live just outside of New York City and have been working in NYC since July 2004. I still miss living in Colorado, mostly for the winters and summers, and pretty much the springs and autumns as well.
- Happily married and father to a funny, handsome little boy and an awesome, cute little girl.
- I have been snowboarding since 1989, and skiing since 1983-ish. I spoil myself as often as possible.
- I’m an Engineering Director at Etsy.com. I know my way around Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP quite well.
- I’m fairly easy to find online. Don’t be shy… Say hello.
Projects
I’m interested in mobile application development. I have a few projects I’ve been working on including a personal recipe manager, which I call “One tsp.” It’s pretty simple to use and has great access customized for your mobile phone.
I’ve also written a mobile translator for iPhones which wraps Google’s Translate API in a web app. I think they’ve since written a nicer one than mine. :)
